Screen flickers. Integrated graphics work fine, so the graphics card looks guilty. Reinstall drivers. Clean the card. Send it for repair. Replace it. Still flickering. Check or replace the monitor, cable, power strip, RAM, power supply, motherboard, and CPU. Still flickering. The eventual culprit, according to the post: an old refrigerator. Its motor switching on and off coincided with the flickering. Moving the fridge to an outlet on different wiring finally stopped it.
